From the moment the service starts to the podcast going live — SundayRec handles every step so your team doesn't have to remember.
From your USB mixer, audio interface, webcam or HDMI capture card. Lossless or MP3. Auto-start on Sunday morning.
To YouTube, Facebook Live, or any RTMP server — multiple destinations at once. Stream and record at the same time.
On-device AI converts every sermon to searchable text in 8 languages. Nothing leaves your computer. Exports SRT subtitles.
Auto-uploads to Google Drive or Dropbox, generates a podcast RSS feed for Spotify, Apple Podcasts and Pocket Casts.
Built for churches across Europe
Built specifically for the Sunday morning team — from setup wizard to broadcast-grade audio mastering. No subscriptions. No locked features.
Set your service time once. SundayRec wakes the computer (Mac & Windows OS-level wake), starts ffmpeg, and stops when the service is over — every week, by itself.
Detects any USB mixer or audio interface automatically. Native ASIO on Windows for low-latency professional setups. Pre-roll buffer catches the first words even before recording starts.
USB webcam, HDMI capture (Blackmagic, Elgato, Magewell), and native NDI receiver for ProPresenter, OBS, Keynote/PowerPoint via Screen Capture HX. No third-party drivers needed.
Layer images, screen captures, app windows, or NDI feeds over your video — with chroma key, 9-grid positioning, and per-overlay opacity. ProPresenter lyrics on top of the camera with a single click.
YouTube, Facebook Live, or any RTMP server — multiple destinations at the same time from a single ffmpeg process. 480p / 720p / 1080p, 25 or 30 fps. Stream-keys encrypted in the keychain.
One button: tees the live broadcast to RTMP and a high-bitrate local MP4 simultaneously (~60% higher quality than the stream). Lose internet mid-service? The local file is unaffected.
MP3, WAV, FLAC, AAC, OGG, OPUS, WMA, AIFF, AC3 and more. Choose what fits your podcast platform or archive. Lossless for archive, MP3 for distribution.
Turn every sermon into searchable text — entirely on your machine. Powered by whisper.cpp, 8 languages, exports SRT subtitles for YouTube. Nothing leaves your computer.
Built-in editor for audio and video. Auto-detects the sermon block right after recording — one click to trim, or fine-tune in/out points manually. Crash-recovery autosave never loses an edit.
EBU R128 loudness normalisation built in. Your podcast hits Spotify-grade levels (-16 LUFS) without an audio engineer. Three presets: Spotify, Podcast, Voice.
New recordings land in a review queue. Check the trim, tweak the master preset, set intro/outro jingles, then publish. Catch mistakes before they reach the podcast feed.
Publish straight to YouTube from the editor. Resumable upload protocol survives network hiccups; uploads stay private by default until you're ready to release.
Every recording auto-uploads to your own Google Drive, Dropbox, or OneDrive after the service. OAuth tokens stay in the system keychain — your files never touch our servers.
Generates and updates a valid podcast RSS feed for you. Submit the URL once to Spotify, Apple Podcasts and Pocket Casts — new episodes appear automatically after every service.
Crash-recovery, auto-reconnect on USB hiccup, watchdog timers, and pre-roll buffer. If something goes wrong during the service, the recording keeps going.
English, Norwegian, Swedish, Danish, German, French, and Polish. Built specifically for churches across Europe and beyond.
Designed for churches, not audio engineers. If your team can set a Sunday alarm, they can use SundayRec.
Plug in your USB mixer or audio interface. SundayRec detects it automatically and walks you through a quick setup wizard.
Tell SundayRec when your services start. It runs quietly in the background and records automatically every week.
Transcribe the sermon, stream live to YouTube or Facebook, and publish to your podcast feed — all from the same window, reaching people who couldn't be there in person.
Those are great tools — for people who use them every day. SundayRec is built for the volunteer who's only there on Sundays.
SundayRec assumes you already have a mixer in the booth doing the actual mixing. It just records what comes out of it and streams it where you tell it to go.
OBS needs someone hitting record at 10:00 sharp. SundayRec wakes the computer on its own and records every Sunday for years without you touching it.
Audacity records. Whisper transcribes. Buzzsprout hosts. SundayRec does all three plus auto-trim, mastering and live streaming — no copy-pasting between four tools.
No cloud relay. No "free" tier with bandwidth limits. Transcription runs on-device — your sermons never leave the building unless you explicitly upload them.
USB cable jiggles? Auto-reconnect. Wi-Fi drops mid-stream? The local recording keeps going. App crashes? Crash-recovery resumes within seconds — the recording outlives the bug.
The full source code, every release note, and every line of every change lives on GitHub. Fork it, audit it, or just trust that it's exactly what it says it is.
Recording is free forever. Pro features are designed to be affordable for any size church.
